ROCK N ROLL IS BACK - THE DEAD DAISIES HOLY GROUND ALBUM REVIEW

Like a ten ton dynamite bomb the title track of the new THE DEAD DASIES record HOLY GROUND explodes, shakin' up the whole World. Huge guitars, genius bass lines, thunder-like drums. As Mr. Glenn Hughes vocals come in man, I feel like home, it all comes together. Perfect opening track.

LIKE NO OTHER (BASSLINE) the second track is your definite ROCK HYMN. Coming up with a perfect bass line the song emerges to be such a huge track with eagle screaming vocals right before Mr. Doug Aldrich's genius guitar solo. The one song you definitely never ever want to come to an end as you turning up the volume higher and higher on your audio device.

COME ALIVE with its laid back Bluesy Funky verse turns out to be a burning meteor bringing light against all of the darkness we human beings faced in the past years especially last year 2020.

BUSTLE AND FLOW hmmmm.... haven't you seen that perfectly composed animation video leaving everybody else behind the bar?!?!?!? Turn up the volume even more and catch up with it!

MY FATE fires up such a heavy riff man, that is just clean weight. The verse turns me blue, making me thinking about all things missing from past like live gigs! As the chorus parts kicks in I'm instantly been hit to the ground laying down headbanging. Such a huge track also!

CHOSEN AND JUSTIFIED is such a cool rockin' track just an instant favourite of mine. The song features huge guitar tracks like you would look into the eyes and sizes of a mammuth. Short joy, but real good joy, better bet on that song! ;)

SAVING GRACE hellyeah, rocks the heck out of me and from the loudspeakers too! Beautiful lyrics, musically speaking huge twists, insage guitar solo, and sweet, honest screams from Mr. Glenn Hughes that will rock everybody balls off and wet the ladies' panties.

UNSPOKEN deeply touching, yet real hard rockin' one. As the rest of the album it is pure ROCK 'N ROLL MUSIC with the greatest attitude given by those musicians who are truly gifted in talent.

30 DAYS IN A HOLE is your instant hit Hard Rock song. Get away Covid virus, we wanna Rock 'N Roll!

RIGHTEOUS DAYS gives us cold chills right there with the introducing guitar melody then it explodes to a hard hitting, smashing mid-tempo song. Another 10/10.

FAR AWAY is a beautifully crafted closing of this phenomenal record. As a ballad this song is really one of a kind painful, full of deep feelings and huge melodies with musical twist which only real musicians can write from deep inside their hearts. As the ending part goes it is simply uniquely genius.

THE DEAD DASIES HOLY GROUND is a mystic place for me and I hope for everybody else out there where all the transformation happen for good soul vibes. These four gentlemen made history by proving that great Rock 'N Roll has a place, has the soul, has a future and it is the best thing of LIFE that is BEING ALIVE.

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN THIS IS THE DEAD DAISIES IN 2021, GLENN HUGHES ON VOCALS AND BASS GUITAR, DOUG ALDRICH ON LEAD GUITAR, DAVID LOWY ON GUITAR AND DEAN CASTRONOVO ON DRUMS. 11 out of 10 points. SALUTE!

The Dead Daisies 2020 - A Whole New Level

The Dead Daisies 2020 - A Whole New Level

The Dead Daises 2020

(about 2 min. read)

After four insanely creative and Rock 'N Roll fueled years between 2015 and 2019 The Dead Daisies happened to go through a deep change. There is no doubt that everyone who likes Classic Rock or Hard Rock got into touch with their music in the past years and let me tell you that the live shows they delivered throughout the years were more than incredible.

Delivering Classic Hard Rock with an epic modern sound and feel they kept the old musical tradition, but on the top of those roots they built up something so tight, hard, heavy, melodic and meaningful both lyrically and musically that only few exceptional musicians could ever done.

Between those years (2015-2019) they enjoyed the three piece creative force of John Corabi as lead vocalist, Doug Aldrich as lead guitar player and Marco Mendoza as bass player and handling the tasks of backing vocals. This stable force gave the members of the band a solid ground for constant development and going towards the heavier stuffs record by record.

In 2019 big changes happened. John Corabi and Marco Mendoza is no longer in the band's line-up. The news came as a hug surprise that is for sure, but when the world found out that Glenn Hughes joined the band on lead vocals and bass I guess the shock was even bigger in like a very positive way.

Since then the new line-up released two insanely great fresh official music videos, a lyrics video and they had a great work with what they named as Lockdown Sessions. Below you find all the videos being so important right now for The Dead Daisies and definitely do not forget about pre-ordering their brand new record entitled Holy Ground, that is due to be released on January 22 2021.
