MICK MARS - A LIVING LEGEND

There is always something about Mötley Crüe, but it is NOT about Mötley Crüe right now. Those fans and external ears who paid close attention to Mr. Mick Mars' especially unique and undefinable, yet very very loud, aggressive, charming and instantly noticeable guitar playing always knew there is so much more in a gentleman now 72-year-old than any of your favorite big time guitar hero. Mick Mars is simply different. A genius being very different than any other genius on the planet right now. And we all love him, right? ;)

Guess, all you Mötley Crüe Fans (including me) heard about this whole world kinda shakin' punch to the floor ending with a lawsuit. Hope you do not mind if I stick to my bones and strictly stay on the side of the perspective of the music. I am - how to put that - kind of really sad about this break-up...and loss from human perspectives. Anyway:

Ladies and Gentlemen!

In the last two months Mick Mars premiered three videos with all new original and mind-blowing music songs on the MickMarsVEVO on YouTube. In this short period of time, Mick Mars gained around 24,000 subscribers (including me) and as of 29th January 2024 he is going strongly towards reaching two million views with the above mentioned three videos.

To tell you the truth his music is so exciting I personally cannot wait for the Mick Mars solo record to come out. I put the links here, you'd better subscribe! ;)

GUNS N' ROSES - PERHAPS

Released about five months ago, raging more than one million views per month, Guns N' Roses Perhaps is the kind of magic what really cannot be described by words easily. There is something unbelievable about this crazy band whether it is 1989 at the Ritz or 2023 at any stadium around the world.

Somehow, with their own, very unique magic, Guns N' Roses can always catch the moment to people's hearts. Genius musicians, rockers until the last moment with a touch of punk and much more beautifully rocking music under their belts than most other bands ever dreamed about.

Axl Rose, Slash, Duff and their master co. still makes a huge difference in this very modern world changing second by second. Standing in the crowd while they made like a nine-minute wonderful jam over Knockin' On Heaven's Door...how to say...I was more than blown away. Giving always more and more, the one and only Guns N' Roses will be always in my heart.

GUNS N' ROSES - HARD SKOOL

With the new Guns N' Roses song entitled Hard Skool Axl Rose, Slash, Duff McKagan and their respected co. shakes the world again from quite various perspectives which is kinda really Guns N' Roses!

Musically speakin' the song is a mix of the Appetite For Destruction and Use Your Illusion era, well at least accordin' to me. The sound is classic GNR, the musical changes are brilliant, the whole song rolls so simple yet so complex, it's so easy, yet so concentrated that I think (as millions of other fans) it's kinda controversial in a Guns N' Roses way.

As I'm listening to the sound of the track I do slightly missing just a little bit of a modern touch, but hey, who am I to decide over Axl, Slash, Duff and their more than precious company who played sold out stadiums all around the world since about 1989, while I'm just here in front of a digital piece of $#@#$ doin' my thing?!?! :)

The Hard Skool release contains 4 tracks, costs $5.98 and ships on February 25, 2022 according the OFFICIAL GUNS N' ROSES STORE, I've already pre-ordered my copy, grab yours too! ;)

HARDCORE SUPERSTAR - NEW SINGLE

HARDCORE SUPERSTAR (HCSS) is back with a powerful new single CATCH ME IF YOU CAN!

One of Sweden's finest bands (if not the best for many) are rockin' hard in their new video which just sounds like a hit single from the guys again. Comparing by any means to their previous perfection of a hit single YOU CAN'T KILL MY ROCK N ROLL, CATCH ME IF YOU CAN follows up with a raw, but very distinctive HARDCORE SUPERSTAR sound on enormous musical levels on all four sides. With Jocke Berg on vocal, Vic Zino on guitar, Martin Sandvik on bass and Magnus "Adde" Andreason on drums the Swedish rockers guarantee real rockin' party time.  Ladies and Gentleman, listen carefully to the guitar solo, it's pure mysterious, magical mastery.

The fact is, the more you listen to the song, the more catchy it becomes. Very important to mention that you can't go wrong with HARDCORE SUPERSTAR, these four musicians will guarantee to band your head to real fine music always.

The Dead Daisies 2020 - A Whole New Level

The Dead Daisies 2020 - A Whole New Level

The Dead Daises 2020

(about 2 min. read)

After four insanely creative and Rock 'N Roll fueled years between 2015 and 2019 The Dead Daisies happened to go through a deep change. There is no doubt that everyone who likes Classic Rock or Hard Rock got into touch with their music in the past years and let me tell you that the live shows they delivered throughout the years were more than incredible.

Delivering Classic Hard Rock with an epic modern sound and feel they kept the old musical tradition, but on the top of those roots they built up something so tight, hard, heavy, melodic and meaningful both lyrically and musically that only few exceptional musicians could ever done.

Between those years (2015-2019) they enjoyed the three piece creative force of John Corabi as lead vocalist, Doug Aldrich as lead guitar player and Marco Mendoza as bass player and handling the tasks of backing vocals. This stable force gave the members of the band a solid ground for constant development and going towards the heavier stuffs record by record.

In 2019 big changes happened. John Corabi and Marco Mendoza is no longer in the band's line-up. The news came as a hug surprise that is for sure, but when the world found out that Glenn Hughes joined the band on lead vocals and bass I guess the shock was even bigger in like a very positive way.

Since then the new line-up released two insanely great fresh official music videos, a lyrics video and they had a great work with what they named as Lockdown Sessions. Below you find all the videos being so important right now for The Dead Daisies and definitely do not forget about pre-ordering their brand new record entitled Holy Ground, that is due to be released on January 22 2021.
