PHIL CAMPBELL
OLD LIONS STILL ROAR

Ladies and Gentlemen! Please be aware since this album and the written review here by AllPopRock will going towards a deep and emotional direction.

As we all know Phil Campbell is not just your ordinary guitar player, he was the guitar man besides front man and bassist Lemmy Kilmister along with super talented beach blonde hair drummer Mickey Dee. Anybody who ever had or has something called Rock 'N Roll in their hearts knows that one of the saddest days in ROCK 'N ROLL HISTORY was when Lemmy died. Let there be God's bless on his soul.

The harsh thing is that after all those years the power trio called Motörhead spent together is what is left emotionally for those who knew Lemmy closely and miss him the most.

As I am listening to the Old Lions Still Roar record I feel Phil's deep sadness and sorrow which probably shines hard emotions for him every day.

We have a unbelievable decent guest list of musicians throughout the album different special guest for each and every song. Let's take a look at the list closely!

The album is a mix of deep emotional ballads and hard rocking songs with huge guitars, heart-beating drums and soul touching bass not to mention the perfect vocals on each every song.

It is very hard to write about or describe the emotional part of hearing, listening to the record. Simply amazing, yet so painful feelings with each and every track.

Sound engineers did an awesome work, God bless them for record's awesome sound.

I strongly encourage everyone who have not heard the album to go out or go online and buy a high quality copy, forget those mp3 torrent sites. This so meaningful music deserves much more.

All of the above use it with caution, I tell you this because The Old Lions do not joke. It has been a long time since I have heard so true, honest and beautifully crafted MUSIC coming from all inside the soul and the heart.

As a listener I would like to emphasize my thankfulness for everyone who  appeared on the record and did unbelievably beautiful musical work. Long Live The Old Lions who still roar! 10/10
