In late 2011 the Canadian musician moved to Seattle, Washington, from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan where he established the roots for his first release in the same year. SEVEN DEADLY SINS came out under the name JORDAN COOK on the 27th, May 2011.
Vocalist / guitar player Jordan Cook along with David "Stitch" Rapaport on bass and Joseph Braley on drums created the first milestone of then completely new era felt, beautifully abstract kind of perfect mix of heavy, melodic, fuzzy, both new and ol' school geniusity. In magical ways The Black Crowes managed to give each song a real individuality while listening to the whole album again and again it simply feel one big, one huge, one so great song all in one.
The second half of the album holds a lot of surprises.
Gives Rock And Roll and great chills at the same time.
Ending with the song 'Kindred Friend' looks like a statement for me for all the fans and quality live music listeners that says The Black Crowes will always be a Kindred Friend for all, for everybody.
No disappointment, rather much fun and a lil' bit of heartache as always. :)

There is always something about Mötley Crüe, but it is NOT about Mötley Crüe right now. Those fans and external ears who paid close attention to Mr. Mick Mars' especially unique and undefinable, yet very very loud, aggressive, charming and instantly noticeable guitar playing always knew there is so much more in a gentleman now 72-year-old than any of your favorite big time guitar hero. Mick Mars is simply different. A genius being very different than any other genius on the planet right now. And we all love him, right? ;)
Guess, all you Mötley Crüe Fans (including me) heard about this whole world kinda shakin' punch to the floor ending with a lawsuit. Hope you do not mind if I stick to my bones and strictly stay on the side of the perspective of the music. I am - how to put that - kind of really sad about this break-up...and loss from human perspectives. Anyway:
